Privacy Policy

Kentus is a Canadian company designing battery-electric underground personnel carriers. In this policy, "we", "us", and "Kentus" refer to that company, and "the site" refers to kentus.ca.

We are the party responsible for the personal information described here. Questions can be sent to pilot@kentus.ca.

We collect information you choose to give us through the inquiry form on the Pilot Program page. That form asks for your name, job title, company or operation, email address, and a free-text message describing your operation.

We do not require an account, and the site does not ask for payment information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field; if it is filled in, the submission is discarded.

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential pilot or partnership fit, and continue the conversation about your operation. Technical data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers described below, or where required by law.

By submitting the form, you consent to us using the information for the purposes above. We handle personal information in a manner consistent with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual limits.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and form submissions are stored in a database operated on Cloudflare infrastructure on our behalf. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

These providers process data on our instructions to deliver the site. Their own handling of technical data is governed by their respective privacy terms.

The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not run third-party tracking or profiling. Any cookies present are limited to what is needed to serve and secure the site.

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and then for a reasonable period for record-keeping.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or to stop contacting you. Email pilot@kentus.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. Because our providers operate global infrastructure, your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of other jurisdictions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
